Youth Engagement

We provide quality exposure opportunities for youth to learn from and to interact with Black STEM Professionals who are contributing to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) within corporate, educational, and research spaces. By connecting with mentors who have similar backgrounds, we illustrate that a STEM based career is for everyone. We aim to engage and inspire minority youth from our communities, backgrounds, and levels of experience.

T.A.P.S. is committed to Collegiate Engagement!

Collegiate engagement is crucial because it significantly improves a student's academic performance, increases their sense of belonging to the STEM community, enhances their overall college experience, and leads to higher graduation rates by fostering a deeper connection with their studies, peers, and professional mentors, ultimately preparing them better for their future careers. T.A.P.S. focuses its efforts on CT based S.T.E.M. and engineering collegiate organizations. We offer career skills based training, resume review services, and mentorship!
